For our last day in Prague, Jessica and I stopped by the Alphonse Mucha Museum since we were in the area sightseeing another landmark. After seeing his stained glass window in St. Vitus Cathedral the other day I had developed an interest to see what else he had worked on. Due to time mostly, we decided to just check out the gift store.

Gosh, I wish we had had more time because I know that we both would have loved the exhibits based on how much we loved the gift shop.
I fell in love with his poster, Night’s Rest.
It is the last part of his series, The Times of the Day. I also liked the first three parts of the series but not as much as I loved this one. I debated whether I should buy it since I didn’t budget much for myself in terms of souvenirs plus I’d have to worry about keeping it in good condition for another 3 weeks. Whenever I can’t decide whether to buy something, I ask myself if I’ll regret not buying it later.
I am certain that I would have come home and beat myself for not buying the large print. So I bought it along with a case protector for it too. She is going to look lovely in my new apt in Pensacola.
I also bought a small print for Betsy because the entire style, Art Nouveau, just reminds me of her. Plus, I think it kinda looks like her.
I have dedicated many posts to Prague which is disproportionate to how much I like the city. It was great and all but I don’t have a yearning to go back anytime very soon. However, I would make Prague a side a day trip to check out the Mucha Museum, eat some traditional cabbage soup, and maybe see the astronomical clock show once again.
and finally
Here is the full series: Morning Awakening, Brightness of Day, Evening Contemplation and finally Night’s Rest.
