Prague continued—-I am soo behind ahhaha. I’ll try to be brief but sometimes I just can’t help talking about why these places are so cool.

1) Alfons Mucha stained glass (1931) inside St. Vitus Cathedral inside Prague Castle Complex. Notice how Mucha uses brighter colors from outside of window to center in order to draw attention to the center images. In this Art Nouveau the blue perimeter is meant to represent the past and the gold is for the future. Did you notice the bank advertisement at the bottom of the window? Yeah, well, they ran out of money sooo the bank paid for it to be completed in return they got stained glass ad space. I took many pictures of this window in order to try my best to capture the colors so if this interests you then I can show you the rest.

2) In the background is St. Vitus Cathedral and in the foreground is a monument of celebration. I have since forgotten the details, but apparently the tower broke while in transit which the Czech people took to be a bad omen.

3) Since I’m so behind on this tumblr thing, I can’t remember if I’ve already posted pictures of Jessica doing silly faces. If not, then there are more to come! The other trends you should look for are pictures of me resting. It was not intentional but as I’ve gone through my camera I have noticed that I have quite a few of those that now (I’m in Rome now) I am seeking a new resting photo op spot.

4) I took this photo while climbing down from Prague Castle Complex towards the main street along river.

5) Jessica and I decided to take some touristy pictures. Doesn’t she look cute?

6) Then there’s me!

also, in my defense, I have tried MULTIPLE times to publish this post, but internet/netbook fail many a times.

About:

This tumblr was created as a way for me to share with my family and friends what I'm up to on my travels. I'm also hoping that this will help me relive these experiences in the years to come.

I'm new to this but my posts will probably get better as I figure this thing out. I hope you enjoy it :)
