I spent my last evening trying to figure out how to reach Arthur so we could have dinner together. I heard some guys speaking English behind me so I figured I’d try and see if they had a phone I could use. They did! While I wasn’t able to reach Arthur, it was really nice that this Canadian and San Francisco guy were so helpful.

I eventually reached Arthur from Judith’s phone and we made plans to have dinner in the city. Arthur graciously paid for our meals then the three of us went to the Arc de Triomphe because I still had yet to see that. I didn’t know that the monument was meant to honor an unknown french soldier but learning that made the trip more significant for me.

I am so glad that I got to spend time with these guys. I had an amazing time in Paris and I have Judith and her entire family to thank for that. They all genuinely enjoy each other and I love being around them even if I don’t understand anything that is going on.

Arthur and Judith made my last night. They were both so willing to do whatever I wanted that night to make it so memorable for me.

I am so glad to be coming back to Paris one more time before my trip ends.
